Amateur Chess Tournament (Under 20)
Amarjyoti Sports Foundation is hosting a chess competition exclusively for amateur players under the age of 20. Anyone below 20 years of age is eligible to participate, provided they register through the official competition website.
📝 Registration & Qualifying Criteria
Qualifying Round:

Participants must win 7 consecutive games on chess.com.

To participate, create a chess.com account using the same email address used for competition registration.

The first game is free. Subsequent games are accessed via the Wheel of Fortune, which determines how many games you can play per token.

Each spin of the Wheel of Fortune costs Rs 100 (or $2.00).

Players may purchase tokens as many times as needed until they achieve the required 7-win streak.
🏆 Tournament Structure
The competition consists of six rounds:

Round 1 begins in time TBD. All qualified players will be grouped into pools, the number of which will depend on total participants.

Rounds 2 to 5 will follow a knockout format, with winners from each pool advancing to the next stage.

Round 6 will be held in person, at a physical venue to be announced later.
